Our vision and mission are shaped by our senior management team, with significant leadership experience in the federal professional services contracting environment.

 

Anoop Mehta Mr. Anoop N. Mehta, CPA, CGMA is SSAI’s President, leading the executive management team and overseeing the overall performance of the company. Mr. Mehta has the day-to-day responsibility for managing, planning, and implementing strategic goals of the company. He has more than 35 years of experience in government contracting, and has actively supported NASA and NOAA programs in an executive management capacity for SSAI. Mr. Mehta has served on the board of directors of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and was past Chair. Currently, he is a member of the Council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Since October 2008, Mr. Mehta has served on the Board of Directors and is a past President of the Maryland Space Business Roundtable.
       
Mauricio Peredo Dr. Mauricio Peredo, SSAI’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), has more than 25 years of professional experience in technical and corporate program management in the government contracting arena, as well as hands-on space science research in industry and academia. As COO, Dr. Peredo is responsible for excellence in performance and customer satisfaction across all SSAI contracts and oversees corporate new business and information technology functions. He is a past president of the NASA Goddard Contractors Association, and an active member of the Maryland Space Business Roundtable.
       
Linda Aguirre-Echevarria Ms. Linda Aguirre-Echevarria, MBA, is SSAI’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Previously, she served as Vice President of Finance and as Controller. Ms. Aguirre has more than 29 years of experience in finance, with more than 20 years in commercial and government contracting. She has held progressively responsible financial positions throughout her tenure at SSAI, which started in 2000. Her responsibilities include oversight of the corporate finance, human resources, accounting, contracts, and procurement departments.
       
Mr. Keith Duffy Mr. Keith Duffy, Vice President-Program Manager, manages SSAI’s Hydrospheric and Biospheric Support Services contract at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. Following a successful Air Force career, Keith joined SSAI in 2012 as the Operations Manager on the NOAA ESPDS contract and assumed the ESPDS Program Manager role in 2014. Prior to taking over the HBS Program Manager position in 2018, Keith served as a Group Manager for the HBS contract’s Computing Support Group.
       
Mr. Jonathan Kelly
Mr. Jonathan Kelly, Vice President-Program Manager, leads the Science, Technology, and Research Support Services contract at NASA’s Langley Research Center (LaRC) after heading the Global Modeling and Assimilation Office (GMAO) contract at GSFC from 2012-2017. Before joining SSAI, Jonathan served with distinction in various Air Force leadership positions including nuclear treaty monitoring, weather system development, finance and budgeting, and atmospheric sciences. Jonathan is the past President of the Goddard Contractors’ Association (GCA) and a co-founder of the Goddard Advocacy Partnership (GAP), two highly visible roles in which he interfaced with Goddard leaders in advancing industry-government relations and advocacy for our industry with congressional leaders.
       
  • Mr. Nathaniel Forgotson, Vice President-Program Manager, manages the Electrical Systems Engineering Services III (ESES III) contract at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD. Nat joined SSAI as a Group Manager on the Hydrospheric Biospheric Sciences (HBS) contract in 2015 and played an integral role in helping SSAI position itself to win ESES III in 2018. During his management career, Nat has supported development of hardware and software for missions including SDO, LRO, GPM, MMS, Landsat-8, JWST, OSIRIS-Rex, SMAP, GEDI, and LVIS. He maintains strong ties to the local community, including serving as a member of the Alumni Chapter Board for the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and assisting students in mastering the art of public speaking.
