University (SSAIU), the centralized umbrella for the education and development of our workforce, is the link between developing employees and building leadership teams that will continue to meet the organization’s strategic goals, now and into the future.
Comprised of three centers, SSAIU provides unique learning opportunities and ways for employees to grow and diversify their skills. SSAIU's three centers focus on developing employees’ professional, leadership, and specialized technical abilities through offerings such as a robust learning portal, customized development plans, knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, mentoring programs, and custom programs for high-potential employees and leaders.
Internships at SSAI
SSAI’s corporate internship program - EXPLORE (Experience Learning & Observing Real-world Education) - offers college and high school students, as well as other early career professionals, the chance to work on real world assignments while shadowing experienced professionals.
Interns are assigned a dedicated mentor, given networking opportunities with SMEs at SSAI, and provided one-on-one support to get the most out of their internship. Opportunities range from highly technical AI/Machine Learning programs, to hands-on engineering, to data analysis and modeling, to general business support. Intern Success Story: SSAI's Ashlee Autore made a great impression during her summer internship as a Machine Learning/AI intern with SSAI. After the completion of her internship, she was offered a full-time position at NASA Langley Research Center's Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC).
