Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) is seeking a part-time Assistant Social Media and Website Editor Intern to join a fast-pace team working on an international science and education website. This individual will be a key member of The GLOBE Program (including NASA GLOBE Observer) in support of NASA and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
This position will be virtual for the time being, but may change to in-person as conditions improve and mandates are lifted, and as such the candidate must be local to the Pasadena, California area.
Duties to include: Assisting the Senior Writer and Editor in: Creating and editing text and imagery for The GLOBE Program’s social media channels. Creating and editing text and imagery, and using the Liferay Content Management System (CMS) to publish news, images, events, etc. to the GLOBE website. Duties to also include general research of topics, documentation, and taking and providing meeting notes as needed. We are looking for someone with great interpersonal communication skills, who pays close attention to detail, has strong web research abilities and who is a creative and strong writer.
