Job Description:

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) is looking for a Project/Task Support Coordinator to provide support for task planning, task reporting, procurements, and general administrative and logistics support. This position requires ensuring accurate and up to date information is available to assist Group Leads manage tasks on the contract. This position supports both the Electrical Systems Engineering Services III (ESES III) contract and the Hydrosphere, Biosphere, Geophysics (HBG) contract at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).


 • Assist Group Leads and interface with SSAI project control as necessary to help with coordination of Task Planning and managing of costs across the contract.

 • Requisition, coordinate, and track procurements for materials, parts, and assemblies as necessary on the contract and interface with SSAI procurement as necessary.

 • Reconcile corporate credit card purchasing report to assist Accounting in purchase card invoice approval. As needed, coordinate vendor invoice approval and issues resolution with Group Leads, Accounts Payable and Procurement.

• Assist Group Leads and interface with SSAI subcontract management as necessary to manage subcontractors (scope, schedule, cost), including tracking deliverables, action items and staffing.

• Assist Group Leads and interface with SSAI project control as necessary to help with coordination of Task Planning across the contract.

 • Assist Group Leads with the creation of monthly progress reports

 • Assist Group Leads with monitoring of 533 actuals and forecasting.


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 4 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to multi-task across numerous job functions in a high paced, short deadline environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel)  skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with NASA programs.
