Job Description:

Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI) has an opening for a temporary Engineering Co-Op or Intern to support the  the Electrical Systems Engineering Services III (ESES III) contract at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC).

The ESES III contract includes the provision of electrical/electronic engineering support services and related work to the Engineering and Technology Directorate.  The work includes the study, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification and operations of spaceflight, airborne, and ground system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and Earth science missions.

All electrical/electronic engineering fields are being considered, including power systems, digital electronics, FPGA design, analog electronics, RF and communications, electronics parts analysis, and system integration and test.

Required Qualifications:
  • Currently in pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or related field, with hands on college level experience in either the classroom or the lab.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
